Aloha! In a bid to get my life a bit more together I’ve decided to write a blog.
Yes, another 21st century female putting myself out there into the big wide world for everyone to see – but hey, if I enjoy reading about other peoples experiences then maybe others will like reading mine too.

So I guess I’ll start off by telling you guys a lil’ bit about me and my crazy life –
My name’s Tori, I’m 23 and I’m obsessed with dogs with squashed faces, gin, Hawaiian pizza (yes, I do believe that pineapple is possibly the best topping in the entire world for pizzas) and I currently live in the north of England. I moved up here in 2016 from the Isle of Wight to help with my parents wedding business, which ultimately wasn’t for me – so I decided to pursue a career in hairdressing (random I know). I honestly feel that this move has made me feel more like I’m getting my life together, I’ve now got a pretty amazing boyfriend and friends that I genuinely feel like I couldn’t ever live without – (some are crazy rave loving hippies who like to eat ceaser salads without the dressing – which I just can’t understand) but hey, they’re cool vegans who are all about saving the planet and I think that’s great.

I lived on the IOW for the majority of my life, as well as living in France for 5 years and Australia for 1, and without a doubt Australia is the place that feels most like home. Whilst I was in Aus I was a live in au-pair for 4 very little people who could be annoying, gross and cute all at the same time and I loved them more than anything in this world!
Being without family and friends was tough at first but when the time came to leave I couldn’t have felt more heartbroken – not only because I was leaving my adopted family, but because I’d fallen in love with Melbourne and felt like I could never fill my Australia sized hole. That being said, I decided to find a trade that would let me get back into their very strict country for good – hairdressing!

Writing this blog will allow me to share places I’ve been and experienced first hand, things that I like, places that I am desperate to see and hopefully inspire others to travel and take chances (I have taken many).
